This course is a study of the person and the work of the Lord Jesus, and the application of His work to the life of the believer. Attention is given to the dual nature of Christ’s person, His life, death, resurrection, and the atonement. The doctrine of Salvation, including election, conversion, sanctification, and related doctrines will be carefully examined from the standpoint of the scripture. This course also includes a study of human being’s origin and identity as created in the image of God, the unity of the race, the fall and its consequences. Students will master the basic sources and methods of theology needed for theological reflection with particular attention to application.
